Bitcoin price traded near $64,260 on Wednesday as markets prepared for two United States policy events.
The BTC price bounced off the support level of $62,800, with the resistance level between $64,400 and $65,000 holding the gains back.
The Fed minutes will impact interest rate expectations, and a White House meeting could affect America’s evolving crypto policy.
Bitcoin Price Holds Near $64,300 Ahead of Fed Minutes
Bitcoin price stayed near $64,300 for most of the top cryptocurrencies pulled up slight gains prior to the release of the Federal Reserve minutes.
The price of Ethereum remained above $1,910, and Cardano, XRP and Solana continued to rally with the market recovery.
BNB also made a small advance until the announcement at 2 p.m. ET, when market activity was cautious.
The minutes cover the Federal Reserve’s July meeting and could reveal policymakers’ views on inflation and interest rates.
🚨 REMINDER: 🇺🇸 U.S. FOMC MINUTES DROP TODAY AT 2:00 PM ET!
The market will be watching for clues about the Fed’s next interest-rate move.

A hawkish tone would likely put pressure on cryptocurrencies as markets would gain in terms of more financial tightening expectations.
However, dovish signals could support Bitcoin and other risk assets by improving expectations for monetary easing.
White House Signals Optimism Over the CLARITY Act
White House crypto adviser Patrick Witt expressed optimism about the CLARITY Act during Tuesday’s SALT conference in Wyoming.
The administration will keep discussing the bill with Democratic lawmakers before the Senate’s cloture vote Sept. 15, Witt said.
The procedural vote would decide when the legislation would go into debate in the Senate, not whether it would pass.
The proposal has languished over matters such as stablecoin rewards and conditions that impact cryptocurrency businesses.
While a compromise was reached on rewards previously, Senate Banking Committee Chair Tim Scott said the conflict over stablecoins is still unresolved.

The crypto meeting was scheduled to take place with regulators, cryptocurrency executives and Wall Street representatives at 2:30 p.m. ET with President Donald Trump.
Among those scheduled to attend were SEC Chair Paul Atkins, CFTC Chair Michael Selig and representatives from the financial industry.
The CFTC will follow with another meeting of the Innovation Advisory Committee that will include cryptocurrency, prediction markets, and AI.
Both meetings could offer guidance for what the legislation might look like as regulators debate the law.
The CLARITY Act’s 2026 approval probability rose two points to 20%, with $71,500 traded during the past 24 hours.
BTC Price Targets $66,000 After Testing Key Resistance
Bitcoin’s RSI remains above the 50 mark, continuing to show RSI momentum above the neutral 50 mark as it looked at the 4-hour chart.
The four-hour Chaikin Money Flow indicator kept its bull market trend at +0.16.
Bitcoin price must clear $64,400 before challenging the important $65,000 resistance area and extending its recovery.
The move above $65,000 is confirmed and could give $65,500 a shot at a breakout, though that range saw some significant resistance before.

If that can be broken, it will carry momentum toward the recent high of around $66,700 and then to $66,000 as per the detailed Bitcoin price analysis.
Immediate support is around $64,000, which can be the first safeguard line should the upward trend get caught. If the Bitcoin price fails to stay above $64,000, it will reveal $63,500 before Bitcoin can retest the stronger support near $62,800.
