As Ethereum (ETH) added more than $12.4 billion to its market capitalization over the past 24 hours, its United States spot Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) recorded their highest daily cash inflow since October 28, 2025, on August 20.

The U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs registered a daily total net cash inflow of $220.77 million on Thursday, according to metrics from SoSoValue, as analyzed by Finbold on August 21. The last time these funds closed their daily cash flow with over $220 million was nine months and 24 days ago, when they attracted $246.02 million.

These spot ETH ETFs have seen a gradual increase in positive cash inflows over seven consecutive days, thus signaling a renewed demand from whales and institutional investors. 

The highest daily cash inflow was through iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA), the largest spot ETH ETF backed by BlackRock Inc. (NYSE: BLK). Specifically, ETHA closed Thursday with a net inflow of $173.3 million, thus increasing its Ethereum holdings to 3.08 million ETH valued at about $7.4 billion at press time.

Notably, BlackRock’s iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB) recorded the second-highest in daily cash inflow, roughly $35.90 million, thereby increasing its ETF holdings to $765.96 million. As a result, U.S. spot ETH ETFs have total net assets of $13.58 billion at the time of publication.
